Thicket Priory York stunning bridal photoshoot Shrouded in privacy for decades, Grade II-listed Victorian masterpiece Thicket Priory has now been lovingly restored to create one of North Yorkshire’s finest private houses for exclusive hire only. Dating back to the 1840s and built by Edward Blore, most notable for his work on Buckingham Palace, Thicket Priory was until recently lived in by an order of nuns and sealed off from the outside world.
